Building your Kin Circle

A Kin Circle is the group the circle lead invites to help manage check-ins and respond when follow-up may be needed.

How invitations work

• The lead sends an email invitation from the Kin Circle page.
• The invited person creates a lightweight account, or logs in with the invited email, and accepts.
• Each member then manages their own eligible alert and summary preferences.
• Text alerts require separate consent.

What to do next

1. Open the Kin Circle page from your dashboard.
2. Enter the email address of the family member or friend you'd like to add.
3. Send the invite — they'll get a link to set up a lightweight account.
4. After joining, open Alerts to choose eligible notifications. Text alerts require consent tied to the member's current mobile number.
