Scheduled check-in

Why daily check-ins matter

Connection should feel familiar.

A real call or text on the phone they already use can create a simple routine and a clear follow-up path. Social Calls are for connection only.

KinKeeper calls the phone they know

A paid Wellness Check arrives as a familiar phone call. There is no recipient app to learn.

Text can be part of the saved sequence

A simple message can make the check-in easy to recognize and answer.

The Kin Circle gets the useful part

Summaries follow the configured recipients. Missed check-ins alert the Kin Circle lead first, with follow-up alerts if no one acknowledges.

How it works

A familiar call. A clear follow-up.

Paid Wellness Checks and Reminders follow the saved attempts, then alert the Kin Circle.

KinKeeper product screens use sample information for Jordan's family.

Email enabled by default. Text requires consent. The first valid acknowledgment stops remaining alerts. Social Calls are connection-only and do not create this missed-check-in alert.

Good questions

Questions about Wellbeing calls

How the routine works, what happens after a missed check-in, and where the boundaries are.

What is a KinKeeper Wellbeing call?

A scheduled AI voice call is a paid Wellbeing feature. It reaches the older adult at the time they choose, and KinKeeper introduces itself as an AI companion. Free includes inbound text check-ins.

What happens if a check-in is not completed?

For a paid Wellness Check or Reminder, KinKeeper follows the attempt timing saved in the account. If the check-in is still missed, KinKeeper alerts the Kin Circle lead first. Without a valid acknowledgment, other members can be alerted through their enabled channels. Email starts enabled by default; text requires consent. The first valid acknowledgment stops remaining notifications. Social Calls are connection-only and do not create missed-check-in alerts.

Do they need a smartphone or app?

No. Calls can reach a landline, basic cell phone, or smartphone. There is nothing to wear or charge.

Is KinKeeper an emergency or medical service?

No. Wellbeing calls are not medical advice, fall detection, a medical-alert device, or a replacement for 911. In an emergency, call the local emergency number.
