1. SMS consent preferences

KinKeeper wellbeing features can contact an enrolled person on a saved schedule and send event-driven updates to configured Kin Circle recipients. This page records an optional consent to receive KinKeeper SMS alerts. It does not change email or call preferences; signed-in members can manage all available channels in Alert Settings.

Text messaging is optional and is not required to create an account, use KinKeeper, or make a purchase. Do not submit another person’s number unless that person is the one providing consent or you are legally authorized and the Service expressly permits you to act for them.

Record SMS consent

Enter the mobile number that will receive texts. Name, email, and account number help us match the consent record and are optional.

Optional SMS consent

You can revoke SMS consent by replying STOP, changing available settings after logging in, or contacting support. Revocation may prevent an SMS-dependent feature from working.

2. How opt-in works

SMS opt-in requires an active checkbox that is unchecked by default and separate from agreement to the Terms of Service. The mobile number and consent must be submitted before KinKeeper records the opt-in. KinKeeper keeps the consent copy, source, date, time, and related record information needed to document the choice.

Consent for an automated or AI voice call is separate from SMS consent and is collected on the applicable call surface. This form does not enroll a number in calls or change an existing call preference.

3. Sample messages

  • Missed check-in alert: “KinKeeper: Margaret hasn’t confirmed her 9:00 AM check-in and we couldn’t reach her. You may want to check on her. Acknowledge: https://my.kinkeeper.com/ack/a1b2c3 Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”
  • Needs-help alert: “KinKeeper: During her check-in, Margaret signaled she may need help. Please reach out to her. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”

Message content varies by the enrolled feature, saved schedule, response, retry status, and the recipient’s configured role.

4. Frequency, rates, and help

  • Message frequency: event-driven, up to 7 messages per week for this SMS program; on many days a recipient receives none.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase.
  • Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. We also honor other reasonable revocation requests as required by law.
  • Delivery is not guaranteed and depends on carriers, networks, devices, settings, and other systems outside KinKeeper’s control.
