Visit Support HubWhat is KinKeeper?
KinKeeper is a financial safety and wellbeing platform for older adults and families. Money brings unusual transactions forward for review. Privacy helps find likely exposed data and manage opt-outs. Identity monitors supported warning signs. Paid Wellness Checks and Reminders add scheduled call-or-text attempts and missed-check-in alerts; Social Calls are connection-only.
Can I use just one protection?
Yes. Start with the protection that addresses the problem in front of you, or bring multiple protections together in one account. See the Pricing page for current availability.
How does Money monitoring work?
The account holder connects supported bank or card accounts read-only. KinKeeper reviews supported activity and brings unusual transactions forward with context for review. KinKeeper cannot move money, block transactions, or determine fraud.
What does Privacy help with?
Privacy helps find likely people-search and data-broker listings, organize opt-out requests, and track each request and any listings found again. Opt-outs cannot stop every unwanted contact, and listings can return.
What does Identity monitor?
Identity watches supported sources for breach, dark-web, and change-of-address warning signs. Alerts explain the type of warning and what may need review while keeping full sensitive details masked.
How do Wellbeing check-ins work?
Paid Wellness Checks and Reminders use a call, text, or both at a time that fits the older adult. If the check-in is not completed, KinKeeper follows the attempt timing saved in the account, then alerts the Kin Circle members the older adult chose through enabled channels. Email starts enabled by default; text requires consent. The first valid acknowledgment stops remaining notifications. Social Calls are connection-only and do not create missed-check-in alerts. Free includes inbound text check-ins.
Is the Wellbeing caller a real person or AI?
Paid scheduled calls use a virtual assistant that clearly identifies itself as KinKeeper. It is not a nurse, doctor, family member, or emergency responder and does not pretend to be one.
Does Wellbeing require a smartphone?
No. Calls can reach a landline, basic cell phone, or smartphone. Text check-ins require a phone that can receive texts.
Who controls the account and alerts?
The account holder chooses what to connect, which protections to use, and whether to invite someone they trust. Sensitive financial and identity details stay masked.
