1. Agreement and eligibility

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Two 15 Foundry, LLC dba KinKeeper (“KinKeeper,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They govern your access to and use of kinkeeper.com, my.kinkeeper.com, our applications, communications, tools, content, and any KinKeeper feature made available to you (collectively, the “Service”).

By creating an account, accepting these Terms, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Product-specific consent, provider, checkout, insurance, or benefit terms presented during enrollment also apply. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. The Service is intended for use in the United States unless KinKeeper expressly offers otherwise. You must provide accurate information and use the Service only where lawful.

2. Accounts, roles, and authority

The Service may involve an Account Holder, a person whose information or wellbeing is protected (the Protected Person), people invited to a Kin Circle, a person or organization that pays, and an organization that sponsors access. One person may hold more than one role.

You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials, keeping account and contact information current, and promptly notifying us of unauthorized use. Accounts are personal and may not be shared.

If you provide information about, invite, or configure the Service for another adult, you represent that you have permission and lawful authority to do so. Certain features require that person’s direct and separate consent. You may not provide that consent for them unless you are legally authorized and the Service expressly permits it. A family relationship alone does not establish legal authority.

Paying for or sponsoring access does not by itself grant ownership of or access to another person’s account or information.

3. The Service

KinKeeper brings financial, privacy, identity, and wellbeing protections into one family experience. Depending on availability, eligibility, location, enrollment, and the plan or Program selected, the Service may include:

  • Money: read-only connected-account views, transaction and recurring payment insights, and unusual-activity signals;
  • Privacy: supported people-search and data-broker scans, opt-out submissions, removal tracking, and rechecks;
  • Identity: supported breach, dark-web, Social Security number, and change-of-address warning signs, plus response resources where offered;
  • Wellbeing: scheduled texts, calls, reminders, retries, summaries, and configured Kin Circle notifications; and
  • Tools and shared features: educational content, ScamScan, breach checks, family sharing, and document or information storage where offered.

Features, providers, eligibility, geographic coverage, enrollment requirements, and included benefits vary. The current information and disclosures shown in the Service when you enroll or activate a feature control over a general description on the public website.

4. Kin Circle and sharing

The Protected Person or authorized Account Holder chooses whom to invite to a Kin Circle and what information or updates to share. You must invite only people you trust and use permissions for their intended purpose.

Removing access limits future access through the Service, but a recipient may retain information already delivered to them. KinKeeper shares information according to configured permissions, applicable consent, and our Privacy Policy. A payer or sponsoring organization receives no private access merely because it pays.

5. Wellbeing features

Where enabled, Wellness Checks and Reminders may call or text on a schedule, retry according to saved settings, and notify configured Kin Circle recipients after a missed response. Social Calls are connection-only and do not create missed-check-in alerts. Where recording is enabled, KinKeeper records only after providing the required notice and obtaining the consent required by applicable law. Automated transcripts, summaries, call-tone labels, or operational flags may be incomplete or inaccurate.

KinKeeper is not an emergency or medical service. It is not a medical alert system, monitored alarm, fall detector, healthcare provider, caregiver, or substitute for professional care or emergency services. KinKeeper does not dispatch emergency responders. In an emergency, call 911 or the appropriate local emergency number immediately.

Calls, texts, retries, acknowledgments, and notifications depend on carriers, networks, recipient settings, and other systems KinKeeper does not control. Do not rely on the Service as the only way to confirm someone’s safety.

6. Money features

Money connections are read-only. KinKeeper cannot move money, initiate transfers, change an account, or control a financial institution. You may connect only an account you own or are authorized to use.

Connected-account data is periodic and may be delayed, incomplete, duplicated, or unavailable. A signal is a question to review, not proof of fraud or wrongdoing. Verify important information directly with the relevant financial institution.

KinKeeper is not a bank, broker, investment adviser, fiduciary, accountant, or provider of financial, tax, investment, credit, or legal advice. Subscription insights do not mean KinKeeper has canceled or negotiated a bill unless the Service expressly confirms that a separate service is available and you authorize it.

Property or public-record monitoring, where offered, can be delayed, incomplete, or mismatched. It is not a title search, title opinion, title insurance, ownership guarantee, or fraud-prevention service. Verify important property information with an official recorder or qualified title professional.

7. Privacy features

Privacy features cover supported people-search and data-broker sources. A likely match requires review and may concern another person. KinKeeper may submit supported opt-out requests and recheck a source after submission, but each source controls its records, matching requirements, decision, and timing.

No service can remove every copy of personal information, delete public records, prevent a record from appearing elsewhere, or guarantee that a removed record will not return. You must provide accurate information and may submit a request only for yourself or a person for whom you have lawful authority and required consent.

8. Identity features

Identity features bring supported warning signs into one masked view. A warning is not proof of identity theft, account takeover, or fraud and may be delayed, incomplete, or associated with another person. Use official account, credit, government, and provider channels to verify information and take action.

Restoration assistance or insurance, if offered, is governed by separate provider or policy terms, including eligibility, residency rules, exclusions, limits, availability, and claim decisions. KinKeeper does not guarantee coverage, restoration, reimbursement, or a claim outcome.

9. Free tools and automated outputs

ScamScan, breach checks, quizzes, scans, classifications, summaries, and other automated or AI-assisted outputs are informational. They can produce false positives, false negatives, incomplete results, or incorrect explanations. A low-risk result does not prove something is safe, and a warning does not prove wrongdoing. Independently verify important decisions through an official source or qualified professional.

Do not submit passwords, PINs, security codes, or full card or account numbers except through a secure field expressly designed to receive that information. Free tools are not financial, legal, medical, cybersecurity, or law-enforcement advice.

The public Email Breach Check may be used only for an email address you own or control.

10. Your content and Vault

You retain ownership of information, documents, images, notes, and other content you submit. You grant KinKeeper a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, reproduce, and transmit that content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the Service as described in our Privacy Policy.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit and share your content. Do not upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing material or another person’s sensitive information without authority. You control available sharing settings and should keep original copies of important documents; KinKeeper is not a records custodian or guaranteed backup service.

11. Messages, calls, and consent

Terms acceptance is separate from consent to automated calls, texts, call recording, or a product-specific data use. KinKeeper sends recurring automated service calls or texts only after the consent required for that recipient and feature is recorded. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive automated marketing texts or calls is not a condition of purchase.

Reply STOP to an eligible KinKeeper text to opt out and HELP for help. You may also update available settings or contact support@kinkeeper.com. Opting out may prevent a communication-dependent feature from functioning. We may still send account, security, billing, or other non-marketing communications as legally permitted.

See our Notification Preferences page for current program disclosures and choices.

12. Third-party services

The Service depends on third parties, including financial-data, communications, payment, identity, privacy, hosting, analytics, and support providers. Current examples include Plaid for supported financial connections, Twilio for calls and messages, and Stripe for payments. Separate provider terms and privacy notices may apply when you use their services.

KinKeeper does not control a financial institution, carrier, data source, website, insurer, restoration provider, or other third party, and is not responsible for its independent decisions, availability, or content except to the extent required by law.

13. Organization-sponsored access

An organization may offer or pay for access through a KinKeeper Program. Your use of the Service remains governed by these Terms; the organization’s administration of its Program is governed by separate Partner Terms.

While sponsorship is active, you are not charged for the sponsored feature. The organization may end future sponsorship. KinKeeper will not begin charging you solely because sponsorship ends. To continue paid access, you must affirmatively choose self-pay, accept the displayed price and renewal terms, and authorize a payment method. Otherwise, the sponsored feature may end or be suspended.

Sponsorship or payment does not give the organization access to your transactions, privacy-removal records, identity warnings, wellbeing responses, Kin Circle communications, or other private Service data. Any access requires your separate permission through a supported sharing feature.

14. Payment, renewal, and cancellation

Prices, taxes, billing intervals, renewal dates, trial terms, included features, and any promotional terms are those displayed and accepted at checkout. Unless checkout states otherwise, a paid subscription renews automatically until canceled. A trial is available only when displayed to an eligible purchaser and converts only as disclosed and authorized at checkout.

A payment method may be required to start a trial. If checkout discloses and you authorize conversion, the paid subscription begins automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel first.

KinKeeper is the merchant of record for member-paid KinKeeper subscriptions. You authorize KinKeeper and its payment provider to charge the payment method you provide. You must keep payment information current.

You may cancel through available account controls or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future renewal; access ordinarily continues through the paid period unless checkout states otherwise. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated at checkout. We may change a price prospectively after notice required by law.

15. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the Service, including by:

  • violating law, another person’s rights, privacy, or consent;
  • impersonating another person or connecting an identity, phone number, account, or record without authority;
  • harassing, exploiting, surveilling, deceiving, or harming another person;
  • uploading malware or unlawful, abusive, or infringing content;
  • circumventing security, access, consent, rate, or provider controls;
  • scraping, using unauthorized automation, reverse engineering, or disrupting the Service; or
  • using the Service or its outputs to make unlawful eligibility, employment, housing, credit, insurance, or other high-impact decisions.

16. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, content, and branding, is owned by KinKeeper or its licensors and protected by law. Subject to these Terms, KinKeeper grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose. No other rights are granted.

If you provide suggestions or feedback, you grant KinKeeper a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free right to use it without restriction or compensation. This does not transfer ownership of your personal content.

17. Availability and changes

We work to provide a reliable Service, but do not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free operation. Features can depend on third-party networks, providers, data sources, permissions, and eligibility. KinKeeper may add, change, pause, or discontinue a feature and will provide notice when required by law.

18. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a material violation, nonpayment, fraud or security risk, provider restriction, legal requirement, or to protect a person or the Service. Where practical, we will provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to address the issue.

Termination does not itself require immediate deletion of records we must or may retain. Our Privacy Policy governs deletion and retention. Sections that by their nature should survive—including payment obligations, ownership, disclaimers, liability limitations, indemnification, and disputes—will survive.

19. Disclaimers

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE AND ALL DATA, ALERTS, OUTPUTS, REMOVAL RESULTS, COMMUNICATIONS, AND THIRD-PARTY CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” KINKEEPER DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

KinKeeper does not warrant that the Service will detect or prevent fraud, loss, identity theft, exposure, harm, or an emergency; that a record will be removed or stay removed; that provider data or automated output is complete or accurate; that a message, call, alert, or escalation will arrive; or that restoration or insurance will be available or produce a particular result. Rights that cannot lawfully be disclaimed remain in effect.

20. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KINKEEPER AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, LOST OPPORTUNITY, OR LOSSES ARISING FROM MISSED OR DELAYED ALERTS, THIRD-PARTY DATA, REMOVAL OUTCOMES, AUTOMATED OUTPUTS, OR COMMUNICATION FAILURES, EVEN IF ADVISED THAT SUCH DAMAGES ARE POSSIBLE.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KINKEEPER’S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID KINKEEPER FOR THE SERVICE DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations. In that case, they apply only to the maximum extent permitted, and your non-waivable consumer rights remain unaffected.

21. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold KinKeeper harmless from third-party claims, losses, and reasonable expenses arising from your misuse of the Service, your content, an account or third-party record you connected without authority, a false representation of consent or legal authority, or your violation of these Terms, applicable law, or another person’s rights. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from KinKeeper’s own negligence or willful misconduct.

22. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to any non-waivable consumer right to bring a claim elsewhere, you and KinKeeper submit to the jurisdiction of the state courts located in New Castle County, Delaware, and the United States District Court for the District of Delaware.

Before filing a claim, please contact us and give us at least 30 days to try to resolve the dispute informally. This does not prevent either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief or using an available small-claims process.

23. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the date above and provide additional notice of a material change when appropriate. Material changes apply prospectively on the date stated in the notice unless law or an urgent security issue requires otherwise. We may require a new acceptance before continued use.

Electronic acceptance and records have the same effect as a physical signature and written agreement. You may print or save these Terms for your records.
