Pausing check-ins for travel or a hospital stay

When life interrupts the usual routine, you can pause check-ins and turn them back on later. This keeps the Kin Circle from getting a missed-check-in alert during a trip or a hospital stay.

How to pause

From your dashboard, open the check-in and choose to pause it. While paused, KinKeeper sends no calls or texts to your loved one and no alerts to your Kin Circle.

How to resume

When your loved one is back to their normal routine, open the same screen and turn the check-in back on. The next check-in goes out at the scheduled time.

When pausing makes sense

• A vacation or a stay with family
• A hospital or rehab stay
• Any stretch where you already know they're being looked after
